Cold weather, warm hearts, can’t lose

One of the many things I love about New York is the four distinct seasons we get here. Like most people, I’m perfectly happy to be home in cozy PJ pants with a hot mug of coffee or tea, but I also embrace getting out there into the winter elements.

Snowboarding is my favorite sport, and I ride as much as possible. For me, not much beats careening down a mountain at high speeds, listening to great music, and enjoying some of nature’s most beautiful landscapes. Après-ski, you’ll usually find me in a hot tub with a drink in hand: the proper way to end a day of ‘boarding.

I go on a boy’s trip out west every year, and I’m lucky enough to have been to many great mountains in my life. My two favorites so far are Vail and Whistler. They are breathtaking, challenging, and monumental.
