Computer Support
The majority of our days here at Murph Consulting are spent solving our client’s desktop and laptop issues. We support both PCs and Macs – everything from computers running slowly, to setting up email addresses for new employees, to printing and network issues and whatever other problem is currently ailing our clients, we are on it, quickly. Additionally, when it’s time for a new computer, we can help you figure out what to get, make the purchase, get your data transferred over, and make sure everything is working as it should on day one.
“My Computer is Broken”
The majority of our days here at Murph Consulting are spent solving our client’s various desktop and laptop issues. Everything from computers running slowly, to setting up email addresses for new employees, to printing and network issues and whatever other problem is currently ailing our clients, we are on it.
Server issues are thankfully rarer, but it’s important to note our years of experience with servers as well. Although many clients have moved to cloud-based software solutions, we still support the local servers that are out there. You can trust in us that when something goes wrong with a server, we’re going to drop what we’re doing to fix it.
Remote Support and On-Site Support
On day one of working with a new client, we install software that allows us to remote in to fix problems. This is often quicker than going on-site as we don’t have to deal with travel time, MTA delays and the like. That said, certain issues need to addressed in person and we have no problem doing so. Many other IT companies have abandoned on-site visits so this is one of the places we like to differentiate ourselves. In fact, we’ve partnered with a few companies that subcontract on-site work to us.
We’re not scared of the spaghetti-like wiring in your network closet or your dogs and cats in the home environment. That’s right, we support both commercial and residential clients.
How We’re Different
- We’re not afraid to go onsite. We fix problems remotely and onsite every day.
- We handle both commercial and residential clients
- We use both the break-fix and managed services models. See more details here: On-Site Support
- We have no minimum number of computers we support. Solopreneur? Working from home and need some IT help? Small business with 5, 25, 75 computers? We’ve got you covered!
- We are fair about our invoicing. We understand small budgets for IT and offer discounts when applicable
- We have a quick response time. We’ve heard countless stories of IT people and companies that suddenly go AWOL and stop responding to client IT requests. That will never be us.
